Located at 7502 Long Point Rd, Houston, TX, Connie's is a charming seafood restaurant that has garnered a solid reputation among locals for its vibrant, authentic Mexican seafood offerings. Despite its unassuming size, patrons rave about the collaborative service from the staff, creating a welcoming atmosphere where quality prevails.
Reviewers like Sergio Ortiz highlight standout dishes such as the Shrimp A-La Cancun and Grilled Octopus Tostada, noting that the speedy service and affordable prices only enhance the dining experience. Many diners agree that the food is consistently delicious, even if the venue is often busy—a testament to its popularity in the local community.
While some critiques point to minor issues, like overcooked fried rice and limited parking, the consensus remains that Connie's delivers on flavor and satisfaction. Though it lacks a margarita machine, the focus here is squarely on the seafood, which never disappoints. With a mix of simple yet clean decor, and a menu packed with mouthwatering options, Connie's is undoubtedly a hidden gem that deserves a visit for any seafood enthusiast.

Service is pretty good, everyone works together at this place. It’s a pretty small place, but food is great here. Plenty of parking till it’s a busy day.

This is one of the best Mexican seafood restaurant, the area in where is located may not be the best but the food is really good. One of my favorites in the menu is: Shrimp A-La Cancun "Grilled" Octopus Tostada Seafood Sup Oysters on the Half Shell Grilled Jumbo Shrimp And the Food it's not expensive also the serving of the food it's fast The majority of time this place is always packed!!

Seems like hole-in-the-wall kind of restaurant. There were plenty of locals hanging out and it had a nice atmosphere. I didn't get to try the food, but it looked tasty. They surprisingly don't have a margarita machine.

Food is ok and fast service. Place is simple but clean. Fried rice was dry and overcooked. Parking can be challenging. Super good they enforce the disable parking just for disabled ppl. Great job!

best of the best I love the pulpo a la plancha and the caldo de marisco. both are just amazing. Been coming to this same location for years. Maybe like 13 years in counting. Staff doesn’t change at all which I love. They know me and my family my our names and we know them by their names. We know so much about them like if they were cousins of ours. They Practically watched me grow up. The place was remodeled from the inside which is a nice touch which it really didn’t need since the food is just so good. I live about 20 25 minutes from this location and I never once complained about the drive. If I lived in another city I would still come all the way here just for their soup and octopus. Only downside is the parking. On a busy day you might have to park on the side or across the street at the convenient store since the parking lot is super small. Their is security outside so you know your car is safe. They have fresh seafood always. Bar on the far side of the tables which is very pleasant that way we don’t have to hear the drunks drinking away. Nice jukebox with great music. Will never stop coming here.

I had the oyster cocktail and the seafood platter with fried shrimp, fried oysters, and fried fish. My platter was less than 13 with generous portions. The service was good and the atmosphere was busy but friendly. The oyster cocktail was delicious and the fried fish was tasty. The oysters and shrimp had a bit too much batter for my liking. The seafood fried rice was delicious with nice chunks of seafood in it. I appreciate the fact they were willing to substitute fried for rice. However, for the overall quality, price, generous portions, and service, I’d happily come back again! I saw a lot of people ordering octopus. I need to try that next time.
